You'll sail aboard Royal Caribbean International’s Grandeur of the Seas departing Baltimore on 9 May 2014 for BERMUDA! There's plenty of time to take advantage of the seven on-board photography workshops, as well as to relax and enjoy all this great ship has to offer. Download a Bermuda Photo Workshop flyer to share with friends and fellow photography enthusiasts. Need someone to share a cabin with? Look for others on the Bermuda Photography Workshop Facebook Events page.
Workshop is $574 per person and includes:
Gavin Howarth, Howarth Photography. Gavin is a professional, award-winning Bermuda photographer. His career started with the natural beauty of Bermuda and he was primarily drawn to the seascapes. He has, over time, transitioned into the wedding and portrait photography and has been trying to meld his clients into the natural environment. For Gavin, photography is "an addiction, [and he's] continually striving for that perfect image to add to the collection." Gavin's work has been featured in numerous local and international insert and cover publications.
Bill & Linda Lane, Lane Photography Workshops. For the last 19 years, Bill & Linda have been offering workshops, sharing their love of photography. One of their goals is to pass on knowledge in an easy, flowing, uncomplicated and relaxed manner. Their workshops cater to shutterbugs of all ages, all skill levels, having diverse interests, various formats, film and digital. They believe that the digital age not only expands possibilities, but it also brings a temptation to forget the basics, guess at exposure and spend hours behind the computer trying to fix it all. Their philosophy: "Take the time to see what you have not had time to notice. Extend the moment through you images. Do these things by learning how to make your camera dance to your tune instead of your being at the mercy of your camera."
